We are a low-voice, semi-professional a cappella group, founded in 1959 with the aim of making a cappella at Princeton more inclusive.

We’ve recorded and released 30+ albums, spanning decades of music and an astounding variety of genres: from Frank Sinatra to Taylor Swift to Phish.

We’ve performed for US presidents and fashion designers, at schools and corporate events, backyards and baseball stadiums, and for millions during our time on NBC’s ‘The Sing Off.’

We travel around the country and around the world.

But the Footnotes are more than our accolades. Since our inception, our priority has simply been to be a tight-knit community that loves singing together.
